In the virtual world of internet there was a voting going on to elect the most hated word in the history of mankind and i was privileged to be a proud voter of this whole election process.For a while i became bewildered to see the contestants on the floor.'Emperialism','Colonialism',Facism','Capitalism' etc...there were so many candidates whose name like the name of Gabbar singh may compel you to perspire in fear.But suddenly I found SPAM in the list of contesting intities and this revelation changed my views and attitude towards all the formidable personalities i mentioned earlier. Now, I must come to the point straightway without any verbose of preface that I have voted for ‘SPAM’. I could easily smell that ‘SPAM’ is the most hated word in the virtual world, hence I voted in the direction of smell and not against it. Yes, it is true that I considered my affinity with it while I was deciding to vote, but it is a global trend in true democracy to vote for the near and dear ones. I don’t find any wrongdoing in it. Though I voted for ‘SPAM’ because I felt a soft corner in my heart for it yet I didn’t allow my mind to sit idle on this issue. I thoroughly went through the manifesto prepared by the ‘SPAM’ and read every thing which was written between the lines. As I know that heart can’t play decisive role in changing of hearts I want to appeal to the minds of mindful people by producing the extract of the manifesto prepared by ‘SPAM’. Unfortunately, I minded the language used by ‘SPAM’(it was peppered with spicy rhetoric) and hence reluctant to produce those mind-boggling documents in Toto. Hence you will have to bear the extract of those well codified documents in my tooti-footi language. Here is the extract…..
“Voters of the virtual parallel world, I wish to reveal the conspiracy of my rivals against me and also want to clarify some misconception about my personality to you people. Since points (read pixels) are responsible for making this world clearer I wish to adopt "point-wise" approach for turning your fumed opinion into a crystal one.
1) My first point is, all my rivals are having some sort of historical (read hysterical) back ups. A back up of mass level exploitation or a massacre. Consider ‘Imperialism’, ‘Colonialism’,’Facism’,’Capitalism’even a new charming candidate ‘Terrorism’. They all have a so called glorious golden past or present. I dare to stand before them because I have faith in your justice. See, how I subtly I cultivated the feeling of deep hatred in your tech savvy mind for myself without any single incident of bloodshed (not even a virtual one).
2) My second point is, many a times you people feel fascination towards formidable personalities and I know that many formidable personalities of history are associated with my rivals (read Hitler, Marx Napoleon, and Hestings etc…).Even worse, you can always question my formidability since you can easily put out (read delete) the light of my life with one of your unconscious click. But mind you, it can be done only when you are unconscious. History has witnessed that how unconscious societies poisoned Socrates, and who can forget the brutal crucification of Jesus Christ? Whims and fancies of societies are in fact immature and short sighted for judging the quality of stuff they witness instantly. It is the privilege of time to decide the formidability and influence of the stuff in respect of whole humanity. I assure you that one day you will feel an equal amount of fascination and repent as you are felling about Jesus and Socrates this time.
3) My third point is, you always consider me meaningless hence no-stuff. You may argue that how can a no-stuff be given so much importance in public life. But let me clarify something about the disparity which I am facing in this truly equal world. All the meaning of glorified words of this world has already been eroded since long.’ Democracy.’liberty’,’equality’’national interest’etc… all have lost their meanings in a long confrontation with vested interests and greeds of mankind. Even though they are being used as an ultimate weapon for a fierce fight against weapons of mass destruction. They are brazen enough to be used as a tool by which establishment is distributing equal amount of inequality among all vote-giving creatures. Then why should I be ashamed of being meaningless. Moreover, I didn’t cry for sacrifice of so many people of all the times for making me meaningful. Ask them, how they asked blood for so called azadi. Even for the genesis of these word, world had to face acute labour pain of so many revolutions and movements of mass level. If they are enjoying public life with utmost veneration then why can’t I?
4) My fourth point is, you may argue that since I am unwanted, I can’t be elected in a democratic setup. Yes, your argument does have some stuff if you think in the terms of logic only. But in practical politics, what is prescribed by logic may not be logical at all. You didn’t want a person to be your M.P. but surprisingly you find him as your P.M. Secondly, human desires are infinite in numbers and volatile in nature. Hence you always have only a vague idea of your wants. You can’t deny categorically that you never wanted me, not even for a moment. Thirdly human mind works as a pendulum. It swings from one end to another end. Remember my words, one day when you feel monotony in your loved ones you will be irritated by them and then you will seek some solace in this unwanted shade. Fourthly, in present world of advertisement and communication human wants are being engineered in factories. You are no one to say that I like this thing and don’t like that thing. It totally depends on how the thing is wrapped and presented to you in the market. Hence your argument is not strong enough to sustain and now I fear, it has become an unwanted argument for you.
5) My fifth point is, you fear of contamination from me and that is why you don’t want to accept me. That is o.k. But see, the castle of government is always based on the pillars of fear. Even God bestows fear on His loved ones making them God-fearing. Then why you feel so bad about fear. Ask Tulsidas. He will explain you that love can’t be achieved without fear. If you don’t believe him, ask any Munna-bhai (read with M.B.B.S.) he will warn you against love-making without a fear of AIDS. Now tell me, isn’t fear is a most exploited human emotion which has established societies and governments, prevented it from the danger of near extinction and facilitated a relationship with the creator which one can always cherish for his whole life. Then why I should have been made an untouchable on the basis of this wrongly interpreted fear.
